For the past few years, my daughter Bee has been telling me tales about a wild character named Princess Wolf. Last year, for the 100 Day Project, I decided to collaborate with her to get this epic saga turned into a comic. Every few days—for three-and-a-half months—I’d sit her down, bribe her with a pastry, take frantic notes while she told me chunks of the story, and then draw a couple panels after she’d gone to bed. The next morning, Bee would review my work, helpfully pointing out each and every little detail I’d gotten wrong—and even the occasional one I’d gotten right! ("WOW, mama, nice dob!") By the time The 100 Day Project had come to a close, we had a pretty entertaining story on our hands—and a bunch of people who enjoyed reading it and now we've printed the whole story as a book!
